Cohen is a 2nd generation bull on our farm.  He was born in spring 2022. His father is one of our top herd sires, Ridge. Cohen’s temperament is one of the best.  He is respectful of our space, but loves scratches and delicious treats!

He is an 75% Miniature Highland and 25% Dexter, and carries the chondrodysplasia (dwarfism) gene. DNA testing shows he is yellow in color, and carries the wild type gene.  He has a beautiful thick coat and is very well proportioned.

The patriarch of our bovine family was born in summer 2019. His father, Midas, is a highly sought-after sire based in Michigan. We chose his name, Cyrus, because he embodies what we have envisioned for our farm. A gentle lord with boldness and courage.

Our furry faced papa has a royal poise in his attitude but has a tender heart. At snack time, he will wait until last to make sure his ladies have their fill. He enjoys neck rubs and compliments about his boyish good looks. 

​

His calves carry on his awesome head shape, great hair, and thick body, while also having low birth weights and small frames!

Cyrus is an 87.5% Miniature Highland and 12.5% Dexter. He carries the chondrodysplasia (dwarfism) gene. He is very well proportioned. has a very thick coat, and DNA testing shows he is red in color. 

Deonte

Deonte was born spring 2023.  He is a 2nd generation bull on our farm.  His father is one of our top herd sires beautiful, Diesel 

Deonte is 100% Scottish Highland, and DNA testing shows he is black in color and carries the wild type gene.  He was raised with his mama, Stella.  He gets his temperament from his dad, and was a farm favorite during our tours.  He is absolutely stunning with his long hair, and small frame!

We are excited to introduce him, his quality, coloring, and fantastic hair into our breeding program.

Desiel

Diesel was born spring 2019.  He is a 100% Scottish Highland.  We love what Diesel adds to our breeding program.  DNA testing shows he is a beautiful dun color, perfect confirmation and all the hair you could ask for!! 

His calves have low birth weights, are stunning with a thick body, and tons of hair!

Elwyn was born winter 2024.  He is a 2nd generation bull on our farm. His father is one of our foundational herd sires, Cyrus. Elwyn’s temperament is one of the best.  He is respectful of our space, but loves scratches and delicious treats!

He is over 93% Miniature Highland and approx. 6% Dexter, and does not carry the chondrodysplasia (dwarfism) gene. DNA testing shows he is yellow in color, and carries the wild type gene.  He has a beautiful thick coat and is very well proportioned.

We are excited about his future here within the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 

Abby

Abby was born Aug. 2020, and is the daughter of Claire.  She is a black 100% highland and tiny and fluffy! Her personality is fun and sweet, just like her moms!  We are looking forward to adding her to our breeding stock once she matures.

Ada Jane

Sweet Ada Jane was born late 2017.  She is a beautiful HiPark heifer with black tips! She has amazing hair, and is very friendly and easy to work. She is a great mama to her calves. Her calves are usually the smallest ones of the season.
