At Green Family Farm, weโ€™re committed to making the process of bringing a Mini or Micro Highland cow into your family simple, safe, and stress-free. Whether youโ€™re local or across the country, we offer reliable options to ensure your calf arrives healthy, comfortable, and ready for their new home.

๐Ÿก Farm Pick-Up

  • You are always welcome to visit our farm in Valier, MT to pick up your calf in person.
  • Pick-up appointments are scheduled in advance so we can prepare your calf, complete paperwork, and answer any last-minute questions.
  • Coming to the farm also gives you the chance to meet the calfโ€™s parents, see our facilities, and feel confident about the care your calf has received.

๐Ÿšš Delivery Options

1. Ground Transport

  • For buyers within reasonable driving distance, we work with professional livestock haulers who use specialized trailers with proper ventilation and non-slip flooring.
  • Bedding and water are provided for the journey.
  • Calves are given rest breaks on longer trips.

2. Air Cargo Transport

  • For long-distance or international buyers, we can arrange for your calf to travel by airline cargo service.
  • Calves are shipped in approved livestock crates, complete with bedding and water.
  • Flights are booked only with airlines that provide temperature-controlled, pressurized animal transport sections.
  • We coordinate with you so that pickup is simple at your nearest airport cargo terminal.

3. Custom Delivery by Green Family Farm

  • In select cases, we may personally deliver calves directly to your farm.
  • This option ensures your calf travels with the people who raised them, and transitions smoothly into your care.
